Music therapy is a research-based health profession that uses music to help people work toward specific goals. Sessions focus on any aspect of being human: communication, movement, mental health, emotional wellbeing, learning and social development… or whatever each person needs that specific day.
Led by a board-certified music therapist, sessions are designed around each client's strengths, needs, and goals. Methods may include singing, playing instruments, improvising, songwriting, and musical games, with each music experience selected for a specific purpose.
Oh, Hello! offers individual and group music therapy sessions, adaptive music instruction, and professional consultation for individuals, families, schools, and community organizations throughout North Central Pennsylvania.
